To know the true future, and apply the right solutions to minimize "looming catastrophe", we need to study past Climate, not Weather:
In other words, weather is the state of the atmosphere at a particular location over a day, a season, a years, or a 11 years solar cycle (solar maximum weather is always warmer than solar minimum weather under same other factors' conditions; without heat from Oceans, magma, masses impacts influences, ...).
It's at least 30 years average or much more by taking into consideration all types of factors, not just tiny man-made. It will help us to better understand, and allow us to take the right individual and collective decision accordingly.
Within the past billion years, there may have been one or more periods when the whole planet was covered in ice. This “snowball Earth” phenomenon remains controversial, with some evidence suggesting that there were at least some areas of unfrozen land and water even at the height of the freezing. It is clear, though, that from about 750 million to 580 million years ago, the Earth was in the grip of an ice age more extreme than any since. But ice on land blocks the chemical weathering of rocks that removes CO2 from the atmosphere, which leads to warming as levels rise.
Snowball Earth may have been possible only because the continents were clustered on the equator, meaning CO2 removal would have continued even as ice sheets spread from the poles. Only when most of the land was covered would greenhouse gases have started to build up to levels high enough to overcome the cooling effects of the extensive ice cover.
Blue Line: Earth Average Temperature
Let’s look at the last 600 million years of global climate change:
⊠ it was generally been warmer than today by many degrees Celsius,
⊠ 22ºC average temperature had been the norm,
⊠ then there had been 4 Ice-Ages during this latest Holocene Epoch where average global temperature plummeted to 12ºC even 10ºC,
⊠ in 1995 it was 15.4°C. We are told today average temperature is 14.8°C a new last 12,000 years of Holocene Epoch record low with just tiny 0.0044% CO2 recent increase to 0.0424% of the atmosphere. This is too low for plants! (purple line bottom-right end).
55 million years ago
After the deep freeze, there were several “hothouse earth” periods when the temperature exceeded those we experience today. The warmest was probably the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM), which peaked about 55 million years ago. Global temperatures during that event may have warmed by 5°C to 8°C within a few thousand years, with the Arctic Ocean reaching a subtropical 23°C.
After the end of “hothouse earth” 54+ million years ago
Comets and super volcanic explosions triggered mass extinctions, and the Earth has cooled for million years or so. Carbons (C) stored in large amount of fauna and flora had deposited on those days landmasses and seafloors, supplying today biotic or biogenic fossil fuel, in addition to inorganic processes that occurs deep within the core or lower mantle of the Earth.
The climate has then switched between ice ages and warmer interglacial periods with temperatures similar to those of the past few millennia. These periodic changes seem to be triggered by the oscillations in the planet’s orbit and inclination and their feedback effects that alter the amount of solar radiation reaching Earth.
In between ice ages, some lesser peaks of average temperature have occurred a number of times especially between last four of about 100,000 years cycles.
After the last glaciation that ended about 11,700 years ago, global temperatures have peaked. This Holocene Epoch had allowed global human population increases from about 1.5/10 million to today 7 billion+ people.
FACTORS INFLUENCING EARTH CLIMATE
What is clear from the study of past climate is that many recipes of factors can influence climate: solar activity, oscillations in Earth’s orbit, Lunar modulation, (greenhouse gases), ice cover, vegetation on land (or the lack of it), the configuration of the continents, Ocean current change, heat/dust thrown up by asteroids, volcanoes or wind, the weathering of rocks, applied technologies, planetary/gas giants alignment, stars alignment, galactic alignment, solar system travelling through different cosmic forces, across different elements (Oort Cloud), and so on.
The details are seldom as simple as they seem at first: ice reflects more of the Sun’s energy than open water/land but can trap heat in the water/land beneath the ice, for example.
There are complex interactions between many of the above factors that can amplify or dampen changes in temperature.
“Global Warming” demonization in today one of the coldest periods in geologic history is a sham . . . a sham perpetuated by a network of dirty government officials, greedy corporations, and bought-off “professionals”, media, think-tanks, scientifics, accademics, religious institutions, among others.
Water vapor (H2O) and Carbon dioxide (C02) are vital to life on Earth. To allow human evolution to more advanced type of civilization, we need to use and reuse them more, not less in a warmer than today's one of coldest periods in geologic history.
75% of Earth surface is cooling, the other 25% where most people thrive is warming. Yellow, green, and blue colored Oceans - only boat people, white colored Antarctica, Arctic-just few scientists, Greenland, Siberia-lowly populated, and Canada houses a bit more people. Except red colored Oceans where only boat people live, grey colored landmasses of East Asia, South Asia, Africa, Eurasia, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the USA, (except too hot, and dry deserts) house more than 75% of the world population, until seawapa.org/timeline changes.
If the Earth WARMS with today humans and technologies
Higher temperature average means cold area will be warmer and hot area colder. More sunheat will circulate more H2O and CO2 masses from warmer Oceans, melting ice, dust to the atmosphere, deposit them on larger landmasses and soaked them in the soil, regulating their temperature, therefore global climate.
Sahara, Australia, California, the Grand Canyon, South America, and Asia Deserts will be cooler and greener.
Siberia, Canada, Scandinavia, Greenland would be also greener, but warmer landmasses with larger and warmer rivers and lakes everywhere.
If H2O, CO2 and heat (coldness) circulation slowdown, large-scale global irrigation using hydroloop technology can mediate the issue. All we need is physical development instead of propaganda and talk only policies. Finance is not the issue as money can be easily created, the only issue remain anti-growth, anti-development, and depopulation policies that may allow any major threats to kill us all instead of just a few.
Sea level rise is one of the many myths as it will take years for ice to melt and spread across air, above and below landmasses that increased numbers of lives including rare intelligent species will use, store, and recycle them more, including exporting HO2, CO2.
The empty spaces created by extraction of hydrocarbons (HnCn) and mining (XnXn) already upset melting ice volume. Once seawapa.org/plan kick off for outer space exploration, H2O can be exported to other planets that are lack of it like Mars to achieve infinite resources exploration.
Warmer Earth climate will be ideal for fauna and flora proliferation and for mass food production globally using today available technologies.
But the Earth has COOLED
Earth climate had already headed to dangerous cooling trend since 54+ million years ago. Of course warmists will always tell you the tropic daytime is warmer than nighttime.
Drought, flood, snow, ice, strong winds, volcanic explosions and quakes will increase business and domestic operation costs further with living comfort and transportation affected as we advance to another colder than one of the coldest periods in geologic history, to another Long Ice-Age Glaciation, just like pre-Holocene Epoch and sea level will drop back.

As food production, comfort living, infrastructure, and the economy above 40º latitudes are affected, we need:
